Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family session featuring Winnie, a stunning Rough Collie with an incredible story and personality to match. Winnie’s family wanted to celebrate not only their bond but also a special milestone—her first birthday! Winnie is the perfect example of a Rough Collie, often described as a “fun-sized Lassie.” While she was originally destined to be a show dog, her petite size meant she didn’t meet the competition requirements. But what she lacks in size, she more than makes up for in personality. With a temperament as sweet and friendly as a Golden Retriever, Winnie lights up every room (or park!) she enters.
