Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest experiences a family can go through. End-of-life sessions are not about sadness,they are about honoring a life that has meant everything to you.
These sessions allow you to slow down and spend intentional time together while creating photographs that preserve your pet exactly as you know and love them.

These images become something you hold onto long after the quiet moments of today have passed.
When To Schedule
Many people assume these sessions should happen in the final days, but often the best time is sooner rather than later.
You may consider scheduling when:
• your pet has received a difficult diagnosis
• your pet is entering their senior years
• you notice them slowing down
• you simply want to document the bond you share while they are still comfortable
The goal is to photograph your pet while they are still able to enjoy the experience and spend relaxed time with you.
If your situation is urgent, I always do my best to accommodate last-minute requests when my schedule allows.
What To Expect During Your Session
End-of-life sessions are quiet, gentle, and completely unhurried.
There is no pressure for perfect poses. Instead, we focus on authentic connection — the way your pet looks at you, the way they rest beside you, and the little details that make them who they are.
Sessions may take place:
• outdoors in a peaceful park
• in your home where your pet feels safest
• at a meaningful location you love together
Family members are always welcome to be included, and other pets can join as well.
Everything moves at your pet’s pace.

Along with portraits, I also photograph the small details that become incredibly meaningful later.
These might include:
• paws
• noses
• ears
• favorite toys
• blankets
• collars or tags
• the quiet way they rest beside you
These images often become some of the most treasured photographs in your gallery.

From the moment you inquire, I guide you through every step of the process, from planning your session to delivering your final gallery.
Every image is carefully edited by hand. I never outsource editing and I never rush these galleries.

For families who prefer an indoor setting, a studio option is available.
Studio sessions provide a quiet, controlled environment and are ideal when weather is unpredictable or when a calm indoor space feels best for your pet.
Studio sessions are available for an additional $90 added to your selected package.

What if my pet isn’t feeling well enough for a full session?
That’s completely okay. These sessions are designed to be calm, flexible, and centered around your pet’s comfort. We move slowly, take breaks when needed, and focus on simple moments together rather than structured posing.
Can multiple family members be included in the session?
Yes. End-of-life sessions are about honoring the bond your entire family shares with your pet. Partners, children, and even other pets are always welcome to be part of the photographs.
What if my dog cannot walk very far anymore?
That’s very common for these sessions. We can photograph in your home, yard, or a quiet location where your pet doesn’t have to move much. Many of the most meaningful images come from simple moments while sitting together.
How should we prepare for the session?
There is very little you need to do to prepare. The most important thing is simply spending time together with your pet. Choose comfortable clothing that feels natural to you, and feel free to bring any meaningful items such as a favorite blanket, toy, or collar you would like included. If your pet has favorite treats, those can also be helpful during the session.
