What to Expect
Every session is designed to be easy, relaxed, and completely focused on capturing your pet’s personality and the bond you share. Whether this is your first photo session or your fifth, I want you to know exactly what to expect from start to finish.

1.Booking & Deposit

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session date and time. Once your session is booked, you’ll receive a quick contract and questionnaire to help me learn more about your pet and what you’d love captured. The remaining balance is due the day before your session.

2.During your session

Every pet is different, and that’s part of what makes this work so special. I photograph all types of pets, dogs, cats, horses, and everything in between. No matter their energy level or temperament, I take extra care to make sure each animal feels comfortable and safe. If your pet is reactive, shy, or high energy, that’s perfectly fine. I work at their pace, using patience, positive reinforcement, and gentle techniques to capture beautiful, natural moments.

3.Proof Gallery

Within about a 1-2 days after your session, you’ll receive a proof gallery with the best unedited images. This gallery lets you choose your favorite photos that you’d like me to fully edit. You’re welcome to take your time looking through them, and if you’d like extra images beyond what’s included in your package, those can be added on later.

4.Final Gallery Delivery

Once you’ve chosen your images, I’ll begin carefully editing each one to match the clean, natural style you see throughout my portfolio. Final galleries are delivered within 1.5 to 2 weeks after selections are made, and rush delivery is available for an additional fee. You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can easily download your images, share them with friends and family, or order prints and products directly.

What Matters Most
My goal is to make every session enjoyable for both you and your pet. I want you to walk away with photos that truly feel like them, the small expressions, the personality, and the bond you never want to forget. Whether your pet is playful, shy, stubborn, or senior, we’ll work together to capture them exactly as they are, in a way that feels honest and full of heart.
Session Prep Tips
A little preparation goes a long way in helping your session run smoothly and keeping things stress-free for both you and your pet. Here are a few simple tips to make sure everything goes perfectly.
1. Bring their favorite treats and toys
The best way to grab your pet’s attention is with something they already love. Treats, squeaky toys, or even a favorite ball help keep their focus and make the experience fun and positive.
2. Give them a little exercise beforehand
If your dog has a lot of energy, a short walk or some playtime before the session can help them relax and settle into things. It’s not required, but it can make a big difference in helping them stay focused.
3. Brush or wipe them down before the session
A quick grooming session or wipe-down helps your pet look their best for photos. Pay extra attention to eyes, ears, and paws—small details really stand out in close-up shots.
4. Coordinate your outfit if you’ll be in the photos
If you’re planning to join your pet in a few photos, choose colors that complement each other and avoid busy patterns. Neutral, earthy, or pastel tones always photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on your connection.
5. Stay calm and have fun
Pets pick up on our energy. The best photos come when everyone is relaxed and enjoying the moment, so don’t worry if your dog doesn’t sit perfectly or your cat decides to explore. I’m patient and experienced with all types of personalities, and I’ll guide things so we capture authentic, natural moments you’ll love.
