Spring Dog Mini Sessions at Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC
Spring in North Carolina doesn’t last long.
The evenings finally feel comfortable. The grass turns bright green. Wildflowers start to bloom. And for a short window, everything feels fresh again.
That’s exactly why I offer Spring Pet Mini Sessions each year.
For 2026, Spring Minis will be held at Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC on:
Sunday, May 3rd, 2026
Session times: 6:00pm – 7:45pm
Frank Liske offers wide open fields, soft evening light, and far less crowding than many Charlotte parks. In early May, the grass is vibrant, the light is even, and it’s one of the most comfortable times of year for dogs to be outdoors.
What’s Included
Each Spring Mini Session includes:
• 20 minute personalized session
• 10 fine art edited digital images
• Pet-only portraits
• Pet & owner images
• Full family portraits with pets
These sessions are short but intentional. We stay in one strong location within the park where the light is best and keep everything simple and relaxed.
Mini sessions are ideal for:
• Updated yearly portraits
• Dogs who settle fairly quickly
• Families who want something seasonal and easy
• Clients who don’t need a full-length session
No outfit changes are permitted for mini sessions in order to keep the schedule flowing smoothly.
Investment
Mini session fee: $300
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at booking to reserve your time slot.
The remaining $250 balance is due the day before your session.
Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and availability is limited.
If you need to cancel, deposits are non-refundable, but you may gift or sell your session to someone else.
In the event of inclement weather, a new date will be scheduled that works best with your availability.
Gallery Delivery
Standard gallery delivery is 2–3 weeks.
Rush delivery is available for $30, with gallery delivery within 24–72 hours.
Why Spring at Frank Liske Works So Well
Frank Liske Park is one of the strongest Concord locations for spring portraits.
The fields create clean backgrounds. The sunset light drops evenly across the grass. And because the space is open, we’re able to spread out without feeling crowded.
For dogs, this matters.
Spring temperatures are far more comfortable than summer heat. Dogs are alert but not overstimulated. Coats look full. Energy feels balanced.
It’s one of the easiest seasons to photograph.
Is a Mini Session Right for You?
Mini sessions are structured.
We move efficiently. We work within a set timeframe. And we stay in one main area of the park.
If your dog needs extended warm-up time, multiple locations, or a more flexible pace, a full session may be a better fit.
If you’re looking for a seasonal refresh in beautiful evening light, Spring Minis are perfect.

To reserve your session, select your preferred time and complete the booking form.
Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early and ready to begin at your scheduled time.
Spots will fill quickly once spring weather settles in.
