🐶 1. Frazier Dog Park (Charlotte)


📍 Location: 1201 West 4th Street Ext, Charlotte, NC

Nestled in Uptown Charlotte near the Frazier Park greenway, this off-leash park is fully fenced and split into sections for large and small dogs. It’s shaded, has water stations, benches, and is perfect for a mid-week social visit or a post-coffee run.


Why I love it: Urban setting with a community feel and walking trails nearby for on-leash cool-down time.


🐾 2. Ray’s Fetching Meadow (McAlpine Creek Park)


📍 Location: 8711 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC

One of the most scenic options, this park is tucked inside McAlpine Creek Park and offers a large open space for dogs to play. While not officially fenced in all areas, it's a well-known off-leash zone for well-trained dogs.


Bonus: There’s a 1.5-mile greenway nearby and even a lake to cool down on hot days.


🐕 3. Davie Dog Park (Concord)


📍 Location: 4635 Pineville-Matthews Rd

A bit outside Charlotte, Davie Dog Park is worth the drive for its large double-gated enclosures and agility equipment. It’s very clean, organized, and ideal for dogs that need space to burn off energy.


Why pet parents love it: Separate areas for large and small dogs, doggy water fountains, and shaded seating.

Good to know: It’s membership-based but worth it if you frequent dog parks and want that social vibe.
